25 Days of Giveaways - Winners listed!

UPDATE WINNERS!!!

I am seriously lacking motivation today to come up with some fun way to pick the winners. So, I just called up my DH at work and asked him to pick two numbers between 1 and 36. If you posted on FB I just added your name after the blog comments . And the winners are #4 and #17.

Congrats to Rikki (Eli and Jett) and Teresa (Sienna)!
Please email me with your addresses and which item you want. If you choose the ornament, please let me know your desired wording!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today I am so grateful to be participating in the 2nd Annual 25 Days of Giveaways. Thank you Tina so much for putting this together.

So I decided I will have two winners (bereaved family members only please) for my giveaway. The winners will have the option to one of the following:

An ornament similar to this one. I made this one for my triplets in 2007 for their 1st Christmas in Heaven. I haven't decorated one since so hopefully I can still write straight! You will be able to pick the wording. The ink is heated dry in the oven, so it does not come off once it is baked.

(back)

Or you can choose a $10 gift certificate to my shop. Nothing like a flower or two to help brighten your mood. These can be worn by all ages. If you don't like to wear hair accessories, you can also wear them on your shirt or jacket. And if that still doesn't work for you, I can also send this gift certificate as a gift from you to another BLM who could use a little cheering up.
Two winners will be chosen by random around midnight on 12/19/2010 and items will be in the mail Monday. Hopefully they will arrive in time for Christmas.

To enter leave a comment here or on my FB post. In your comment please just write the name(s) or nickname(s) of your angel(s)...I enjoy "hearing" their names..."Flying together"

This Holiday Season...including our angels

It has been very cold for California and therefore our Monarchs are not emerging very fast. If you have requested a release please know you have not been forgotten. I promise each release is unique so with that we just need to wait for nature to do its thing.

So...while we are waiting for the butterflies emerge, I thought I'd share what new annual tradition I am going to do this Holiday season to include my angels. Shutterfly is offering free Holiday cards to bloggers...how cool is that?!?! Their Holiday collection is so amazing too. So, what a PERFECT time to start this. Since my loss I haven't sent out Christmas cards. I think my grief at that time of year is too overwhelming for cheery cards. Do I sign all of our first names without the triplets' names? Do I sign all of our first names including the triplets' names? Or do I just be more vague and just sign them "theMcConathys" to avoid the subject all together? So I was thinking how else could I include them? So this year I will add three butterflies to our cards in memory of Jaxon, Colin and Courtney. I can't wait! They are going to be breath-taking! I think I will add the butterfly to a Christmas ornament similar to this...

As I browsed through all the different designs I found it difficult to choose one because so many are perfect for our family. I think these are my top picks though.

You can see the whole holiday collection HERE.

I was also thinking about their calenders for the grandparents. What a great gift!
You can see them all HERE.

And I am thinking my husband needs a new personalized mug for work with all his children on it. He would absolutely love it!
HERE are some more examples...

If you are a blogger you too can get 50 free cards! If you wish feel free to use the butterfly ornament picture above in it as well ;) . Check out the offer HERE. If you don't have a blog don't worry right now they are having a great sale and all cards are 20% off!

Here is to a peaceful Holiday Season to you all and to all our angels <3.

A butterfly lights beside us, like a sunbeam... and for a brief moment her glory and beauty belong to our world... but then she flies on again, and although we wish she could have stayed, we are so thankful to have seen her at all.

Flying Together

Thought this might be fun (for the bereaved parents and the non-bereaved as well)...print out this Monarch and take a picture of the picture in the sky of where ever you are. Post the picture on OUR Face Book page with the city, state, country of where it was taken. Let's see how far and where this butterfly flies.

Flying together ♥ Never ever forgotten...forever loved.

Stillborn on Aug 18th, 2010
Angels Unaware
Oh, the longing we both had,
To be a mummy and a dad.
We put our hopes and dreams in you,
He hoped for pink, I dreamed of blue.
but for you God had a different plan,
One we may never understand.
We were visited by an angel,
Though we didn't know it then.
You were the answer to our prayer,
Our Angel Unaware.
We hardly got to say hello,
Before we had to let you go.
God breathed your name and called you home.
So briefly here, so quickly gone.
But in the stillness of the night,
My empty arms still hold you tight.
We were visited by an angel,
Though we didn't know it then.
You were the answer to our prayer,
Our Angel Unaware.
In my mind I see you running.
Chasing bees and butterflies.
Soft hair gently blowing.
Healthy cheeks, laughing eyes.
In the quietness of the morning,
When the mist hangs in the air,
I hold you close within my heart -
My Angel Unaware.
How can I miss someone so much,
I barely had the chance to touch?
Yet, as you grew inside of me,
I learned how strong a love could be.
I knew you for a lifetime -
I'll love you for all of mine.
We were visited by an angel,
Though we didn't know it then.
You were the answer to our prayer,
Our Angel Unaware
